The Mobility Networks Group, a global leader in products for vehicle accessibility, has appointed a new Product Manager to enhance its worldwide service – Steve Fletcher.
Led by renowned entrepreneur and CEO Mike Simmonds, Mobility Networks provides a comprehensive range of solutions to the accessible PCV and WAV sectors including powered wheelchair lifts, ramps, escape hatches, assistive driving solutions and more. Originally from Luton, Steve Fletcher, 46, is a highly experience vehicle lift design engineer who entered the industry as an apprentice. Over 25 years, he progressed in seniority and became an influential figure at Ratcliff Palfinger. His previous role at Ratcliff Palfinger involved responsibility for managing R&D, driving product innovation and supporting the sales team with technical expertise. Now a key member of Mobility Networks, Steve will be continuing in a similar role with a focus on delivering global customer satisfaction and ensuring product performance is of the utmost calibre.

Steve’s remit will be diverse within Mobility Networks including product safety and legislative conformity, R&D and customer technical support. Mike Simmonds, Mobility Networks CEO added: “Bearing in mind his proven engineering expertise, Steve was the ideal candidate to join Mobility Networks. He will be working closely with all our manufacturers across the world, including PLS (Passenger Lift Services) here in the UK, to ensure we remain at the forefront of innovation.”
