Arriva Transport Solutions has placed a large order of ‘Multiplex PTS’ vehicles, designed and built by Blue Light Services in partnership with London Hire. With the widest accessibility portfolio in the market, Mobility Networks was the chosen supplier for a range of ramps (FlexisRamp), steps (AquaStep) and winches (FlexiWinch).
Built on a Renault Master chassis, the Multiplex PTS vehicles are on a fully serviced contract hire with London Hire Ltd and can accommodate seated patients, benefitting from a flexible configuration that allows Emergency crews to convert the vehicle based on daily requirements, taking only a few minutes.
The Multiplex vehicle also reduces the overall fleet size as it performs the functions of multiple vehicle types, removing the need for traditional dedicated stretcher, seated or wheelchair vehicles and regular ambulances.
