Andrew Creese has been appointed as a new member to the Board of Mobility Networks, a global specialist in vehicle wheelchair access solutions.
Led by international entrepreneur and CEO, Mike Simmonds, Mobility Networks is a multi-national specialist in wheelchair lifts, ramps and accessibility products for the bus and coach, commercial PCV and domestic WAV sectors. As Mobility Networks provides a single source for the best access solutions worldwide, Andrew Creese will now strengthen global strategy and provide wider contacts through his diverse international experience.
Andrew has successfully fulfilled several CEO positions throughout his career focused on global manufacturing. He has a wide and deep knowledge of international trade and held the position of Unwin Safety Systems Managing Director for five years. Andrew was instrumental in developing and delivering the Unwin’s merger with Autoadapt which has proven to be a successful strategic move.
Efficiency of supply is a particular forte of Andrew that will facilitate improvement in Mobility Networks operations across several continents. Maintaining and developing product quality and performance will also provide a focus for Andrew as he explains: “The market for accessible vehicle solutions is evolving at pace. As many specialist suppliers move to the next level my appointment with Mobility Networks will ensure our product innovation remains at the forefront. Acting in an advisory capacity to the Board, I bring to the table a broad perspective that will aim to continue raising product quality and ultimately standards in disabled passenger safety.
